well it's a love story...between a young girl, and an old man... Problem is, the girl is really submissve: the man asks her kinky things (bondage, etc..) but she kinda accept it...Then, he writes her romantic letters, which she has to burn.. She is being dominated by her mother, who never allow her any freedom, and by the housemaid, who continually steals her personal belongings...
No crude scenes, or writing though... The descriptions are cold, and there a thriller atmosphere: did the old man killed his wife? Or was it an accident?
I sure couldn't go on a relationship like this one..O.o
basically it is a story about a gal who is "in love" with some old pervert. The more he physically hurts her (bondage, humiliation...) the more she enjoys it... T*T
it ends by the death of the man...
but the story is written in very cold words, kinda emotionless like... so it puts a distance between the reader , and what happens to the characters...hence my feeling weird when reading it ^ ^

It is not a love story, not a relationship...My there wasn't no crude words, not even (too) shocking scenes, though i never read a book so..weird...
